Karen Farren, DVM

Dr. Karen Farren was born and raised in West Warwick and currently resides in Coventry. She went to University of Vermont for her undergraduate education and graduated from Tufts University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery since graduation. Dr. Farren has a special interest in geriatric medicine and soft tissue surgery, however, her favorite part of medicine is to follow patients from puppy and kittenhood through their geriatric years.

Dr. Farren enjoys spending time with her husband and her 4 Labrador Retrievers and her 3 Dwarf Nigerian goats. She and one of her Labradors, Liam, spend time together volunteering as a pet therapy team. Dr. Farren also enjoys visiting national parks, hiking, and photography.
