Our Practice
Nestled in the quaint village of Hope, we also serve Scituate, Cranston, Coventry, West Warwick, and neighboring Rhode Island communities. We pride ourselves on our welcoming, inviting approach. Our goal is to provide small-town service combined with modern veterinary care.
Hope Veterinary Care is fortunate to have a loyal client base, many spanning generations of families. Many clients refer their friends, relatives, and neighbors to us for their pets’ care. We also warmly welcome new clients and patients.
One of our practice mottos is: Life is Great and Pets Make it Better. Pets enrich our lives in so many ways. This is a key reason why we are dedicated to their lifelong wellbeing. We care deeply for our patients and their health. We also care for their people—and commit to being your trusted advisor in all veterinary matters.
Since we are a small practice, we have the opportunity to get to know our patients and our clients well. As we help your pets live long, healthy lives, we hope you and your family will also become long-time friends. We will be at your side to help you navigate through the young, active years and into the elder years with your pets.
Our Story
Founded in 1987 by Dr. St. Amand (or Dr. Mary, as she is more commonly known), Hope Veterinary Care is a general practice veterinary clinic serving cats and dogs. We offer a range of veterinary services. If your pet develops a challenging condition or disease, we may refer you to an appropriate specialist. And if that is the case, throughout your pet’s illness we will hold your hand and guide you through treatment decisions. Hope Veterinary Care is a member of the Rhode Island Veterinary Medical Association (RIVMA) and Cornell Feline Health Center.
